Little Cloud

High above the mountains lived a little round, soft cloud named Feather.

When evening came, Feather loved to lie on the sky's pillow and watch the stars light up one by one, like tiny candles.

"Goodnight blue star. Goodnight golden star. Goodnight round moon," he whispered with a smile.

Gently, the moon answered with a silver ray that tickled his belly, and Feather laughed softly.

Then the evening wind arrived, light as a caress, and rocked Feather from left… to right… from left… to right…

His eyelids grew heavy, heavy as fresh snow, and his heart beat slowly, calmly.

"Tomorrow, I will travel above the sea," thought Feather with a yawn.

And he fell asleep, perfectly happy, tucked against the stars.

— Good night. —
